At the Party meeting in Ramsey on 14 August 2019, the Party accepted Leo Cussons, current Party Election Strategist, as a candidate for the Malew Bye-Election. The election will be held on Thursday 12 September.

Leo Cussons said, “We have seen in other local authorities across the Isle of Man what a difference having a Green Party Commissioner can have… Having a Green Commissioner in Malew can now have an influence in your community by improving waste management, community, local politics, clean transport and clean energy.”
