Isle of Man Road Racing

Recognising the Island’s status as a UNESCO Biosphere and the commitments under the Climate Change Act 2021, the Green Party believes that it is irresponsible that events that are entirely dependent on fossil fuels, such as the TT and MGP, are still actively encouraged.

The Green Party remains in support of these events continuing but with a rapid complete transition to renewable energy-fuelled vehicles, such as the now-defunct TT Zero.

Energy Performance Certificates

To aid and incentivise the improvement to energy performance of properties in the Isle of Man, the Green Party calls the introduction of Energy Performance Certificates for all residential and commercial properties for sale or rent. To be introduced over time, starting with residential rental properties.
