Deputy Leader Elected in Ramsey North

Green Party Deputy Leader Elected to Ramsey Town Commissioners

In the Ramsey Town Commissioners by-election held on Thursday 25 November 2021, Green Party Deputy Leader Lamara Craine was elected to represent the community of North Ward, Ramsey on the board of Ramsey Town Commissioners.

In response to her election, Lamara stated:

 

I’m absolutely delighted that I received such wonderful support. I’m so looking forward to working with the other brilliant commissioners to make our town more vibrant and just a happier place to live!”

 

Of Lamara’s success, Green Party Leader Andrew Langan-Newton stated: -

 

“Ramsey North Ward has chosen an utterly passionate and committed advocate for their community and our environment. Ramsey and the Isle of Man will benefit from the election of Lamara.”

Lamara was recently re-elected Deputy Leader of the Green Party at its annual Green Conference held in Peel last Saturday 20 November.
